Ascended King of the Monsters

King Ghidorah was back and the new super monster Bagan was on a rampage across China. The EDF wanted some answers and began interrogating Wilson, Grenchko and Winter as to what happened to their supposed savior. After Gordon spear headed the interrogation, it revealed that the Futurians were not so honest in their intentions. The truth is Ghidorah did not go missing in the future, his body and severed head were destroyed and disposed of by humanity instead to prevent him from returning. What’s more, there was already an Earth Union in future that was lead by radicals who wanted to make a better world for themselves and so, made the plan of going back in time, use Ghidorah and make him into their tool and make a new, stronger EU in the process. However they did not intend Ghidorah to go rogue or have any information on Bagan as he was never involved in the timeline of the future. It stood to reason that because of the Futurians meddling in the past, Bagan was able to come into real since Ghidorah’s head was not disposed of in this time line. Now because of these people of the future, ours now looked incredibly bleak.

Back in China, Bagan was flying east towards the coast letting loose more fire and lightning across the land. No matter what rocket, missile was thrown at him, he shrugged it off and blasted any and all resistance in the process. Nothing could stop this juggernaut of evil’s path of death and destruction.

After the EU was disbanded and Wilson, Grenchko and Winter had been arrested for their deception the EDF held a meeting of what to do now what with MKG gone and no other means of stopping this new threat. The monsters of Earth would be no help either since they had all retreated back to Monster Island after having been beaten and King Caesar having been slain by the MKG. The only hope now seemed to be Ikusagami Mothra Leo, Battra and the Gotengo, but there was doubt if even that could stop Bagan. Gordon rose up out of his seat and told them that there is one last hope, Godzilla. Gordon offered to use the Gotengo to break Mt. Fuji and let loose the king of the monsters on both Ghidorah and Bagan. It seemed a crazy plan to bring back the monster that had caused such trouble in the past, but what other option was there. It was official, Godzilla was to be awakened immediately.

As the Gotengo prepared to go into action, Ozaki arrived a bit late and, just before he could greet Kazama and Otonashi, a light flashed before his eyes. Ozaki opened his eyes to see that he was no longer at the Gotengo deck, but instead a large subterranean tunnel. The Elias Moll and Lora presented themselves to Ozaki and knew that he and his allies were going to awaken Godzilla. The problem was that Godzilla had not fully recovered his strength or power yet, but had an idea that could solve the problem. As the twins took Ozaki down further into the tunnel, he soon walked into a massive room and in the center of the room stood a small glowing pearl and a stone pillar. The Elias explained that this pearl was called the Nova Core, the force that helped the Light defeat the Darkness long ago. Supposedly, the gem had the power of the universe itself sealed inside it and could only be unleashed by truly mighty beings. After the Light defeated the Darkness, it placed the gem far away and secured it so that the Darkness could not use its powers for its own wicked intentions. Moll and Lora were left to guard the Core and only use it should the Darkness itself return. Ozaki was given the Nova Core and was asked by the Elias to give it Godzilla so that he could use its power to revive himself. They asked him to hurry while Leo and Battra held off Bagan as long as they could while they would get the gem to Godzilla. Ozaki asked why they chose him to deliver this gem and not someone perhaps more worthy. The Elias told him that he was a special individual with a kind and strong heart, who was more than worthy to deliver this gem to the king. With that, Ozaki found himself back at the hanger holding the glowing pearl and told the others of what had happened to him.

As the Gotengo was closing in Mt. Fuji, the idea of using a small gem to awaken Godzilla seemed a bit farfetched, but then again, stranger things had happened.  As the crew finally made it to Mt. Fuji, a question was asked, how to get the Nova Core to Godzilla? Gordon had the answer. In the Gotengo’s arsenal was an old D-03 drill warhead, specially designed to penetrate Mt. Fuji and hit Godzilla. As Ozaki placed the Nova Core into the D-03 missile’s compartment, the Gotengo began scanning for the monsters king to find him and wake him up. As the scan continued, the radar starting acting up and Mecha King Ghidorah was spotted and coming at the Gotengo at full speed. The cyber hydra knew that someone might try to wake Godzilla back up and wouldn’t let that happen. Ghidorah began shooting at the Gotengo just as Godzilla had been located. Gordon ordered the missile to fire and off it went at Mt. Fuji just as Ghidorah slammed into the Gotengo. The warhead hit the ancient volcano and began drilling away into the center. As the drill continued to dig its way to Godzilla’s location, it exploded and the Nova Core shot out and headed off. The gem landed and rolled near a large rock formation and began to glow brighter and brighter. Suddenly, one of the rocks broke to reveal a claw that came down and grabbed the Core. As the gem became brighter, the rock formation began breaking revealing two glowing eyes. Then, BOOM, Mt. Fuji erupted with a massive pillar of light coming from the top of the volcano. Ghidorah stopped and witnessed the spectacle unfold as the eruption continued. There, on top of the volcano rose a massive figure in the energy pillar. As the light faded away, there stood the king of the monsters, only now he had not just used the power of the Nova Core to revive himself, but had fused with it, causing it to grow and center itself into Godzilla’s chest. The resulting fusion caused Godzilla to transform into a new powerful force of nature, Super Godzilla.

As Super Godzilla roared ferociously, he began his descent down the volcano. MKG roared and flew after his foe. As SuperG made it to the base of the volcano, MKG landed and the two arch enemies roared at each other. MKG began blasting SuperG with bolt and beams only to be ineffective against the reborn king. SuperG charged and slammed MKG and bashed the cyborg back with kaiju sized, energy fists. MKG latched his cables onto SuperG and began shocking the king. SuperG’s tail rose up and began shooting a scattershot of energy spheres beating the cyborg back further until forcing him to retract his cables. Just as MKG could get further away, his body began to be dragged back down by a fearsome magnetic force coming from SuperG. The king of monsters then grabbed the cyber hydra’s tail and swung him into the air and blasted him a crimson spiral ray. MKG was beaten and sent flying away from Mt. Fuji as Super G let out a powerful roar. Godzilla was back and ready for more and started to move out. According to the Gotengo’s computer, Godzilla was zeroing in on Tokyo, as was Bagan. It was likely that Bagan wanted the Nova Core himself since he was the Darkness in physical form. The Gotengo followed as SuperG continued his march to Tokyo.

Later, back at the Chinese coast, Bagan was still making way to Japan when he heard a pair of thunderous roars coming from a distance, Leo and Battra. The two guardians began blazing the monster with bolts and fire power with Bagan returning the same.  Leo managed to reflect a great deal of the attacks back at the dark monster, but Bagan was taking little damage and healing fast.  Battra came up behind the ivory beast, only for Bagan to see him coming and hold him in place with his graviton bolts. He turned back and let loose a huge plasma breath attack at Leo and hurled Battra at him. Catching his comrade, Bagan then let loose bolts and lightning at the two, Battra was down, but Leo’s armor was making him a tough opponent for the monster.  Leo decided to end it quickly with his Transcending Fate attack to kill the beast. It seemed to be working at first, but Bagan’s G-cells allowed it to heal extremely fast and cause Leo’s attack. Bagan showered Leo in fire and lightning and managed to bring the protector down, hard. Just as Bagan began to set out again, he was halted by the MKG, which had descended on to China to see this new beast himself. As the two roared at one another, no means of a truce could be clear as MKG tried to bring the beast to his side. Bagan roared and hit MKG with his own attack and sent him into the ocean. They may have shared the same genes, but they were not allies. Bagan rose again into the clouds and shot off to Japan at full speed.

Back at Tokyo, SuperG had arrived at the heart of the city and simply stood there and waited. As Gotengo arrived, an eerie calm swept the area like the calm before the storm. SuperG looked up and saw a rain of lightning coming from the sky as Bagan presented himself. The two god like forces howled at each other and made it clear that neither was backing down from the other. Bagan froze SuperG in place with his graviton bolts, only for the ascended king to break free and nail him with a crimson spiral ray in the chest. The two beasts then rammed into each other and started clawing a biting each other as Tokyo began to shake apart from the battle. SuperG knocked Bagan back and used his magnetism to launch buildings at the monster along with a scattering of energy spheres from his tail. Bagan let loose lightning, block a majority of buildings and spheres. SuperG charged and hit the dark monsters with a powerful energized fist, pushing him back. Bagan set fire to the battlefield with a huge plasma flame and hit SuperG in the process. The ascended king took in energy from the core and shot a massive spiral ray at Bagan, tearing the monster apart from the blast. Bagan’s broken, smoking body began to rise again and heal him very fast. As long as he had G-cells in his body too, this fight seemed endless. Leo and Battra then arrived and began shoot bolts of energy at the dark monster. The three monsters let loose a blitzkrieg of energy at Bagan, shredding his body in the process. Bagan hit the area with a shockwave of raw lightning and graviton bolts then rose into the air. In the sky, Bagan started charging his whole body with pure power and brought his lightning and graviton energy into his mouth and mixed the two with his plasma flame and prepared to destroy Tokyo and everything with it. Just before he could, MKG appeared again right behind Bagan and grabbed the demon with his cables and machine hand. MKG may have hated Godzilla, but he would allow no one else but himself to kill the king and no other. As Bagan’s body was being bombarded with electricity, MKG roared out to SuperG to finish him off now. SuperG held out his claws as he began to bring in a mass of spiraling energy into his Nova Core. The powerful gem began to fill to the brim with power until finally, letting loose a mighty roar, SuperG unleashed a massive beam of white light that hit Bagan and MKG. The raw energy began to atomize Bagan as MKG was lost in the light of the attack. Just then a small escape pod was launched from MKG and hit the ground. As the energy beam of light shot out into space, Bagan and MKG were both gone. It was not certain if MKG was dead or not, but Bagan defiantly was, the living Darkness was gone and dead.

SuperG roared out loud in victory with Leo, Battra, the Gotengo crew and the rest of the planet doing the same.  As the ascended king and his allies looked into the sky, the Gotengo landed near the escape pod with Ozaki, Gordon, Kazama and Otonashi opened it to see Emmy was alive and well. As she woke, up she thanked M-11 for saving her. However, M-11 said that he did not and that he had just reactivated himself. Perhaps it was Ghidorah returning the favor for having brought him back from the dead and making them even. Emmy agreed to take back Wilson and Grenchko and turn them over to their police in the future and herself as well. Battra then took off back south to recover from the terrible fight, SuperG and Leo took off to the sea together to search for any remains of Bagan that may have survived the blast. Otherwise this might all start over again. SuperG looked back on more time to Japan and roared out to any who could hear him. Earth’s ultimate monster was back and more powerful than ever before and ready to defend his home from any and all that would dare attack it.
